Hoggie Days

Hoggie Days is the required in-person orientation experience for all incoming first-time-in-college students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. With multiple dates available, you can choose the session that fits your schedule—and your family's. During Hoggie Days, you’ll explore your degree plan, receive academic advising, register for fall classes, and get to know the Javelina community, including fellow students, faculty, and staff. You’ll also learn about our rich traditions and what it means to be part of Javelina Nation.

Transfer Students

Orientation is mandatory for all transfer students and may be completed either in person at Hoggie Days or online. While both options fulfill the requirement, we strongly encourage attending Hoggie Days in person. These sessions provide valuable opportunities to connect face-to-face with academic advisors, financial aid representatives, Admissions, and Student Life staff, ask questions in real time, and build connections before the semester begins. All transfer students must register for orientation prior to meeting with an advisor to enroll in courses.
